WHITE ASPARAGUS
Rosara white asparagus are specific Navarra denomination of origin, known world-wide for their tenderness and special taste. The asparagus are brought to our factory by the farmers themselves year after year. Thanks to this close relationship, we get prime quality asparagus. They are put up the same day to prevent them from increasing their fibre, which makes them tough. They are hand peeled and hand graded (thickness of the asparagus) and then put up in tins or jars. The liquid in the container totally lacks any kind of preservative or colorant. At Rosara, we put up our asparagus in a wholly natural and craftsman-like way so the taste of Navarra will get to your table intact.

The calibres are expressed in terms of the number of asparagus per container. For example: 1/2 Kg. tin, 9/12 units "thick", means that in this 1/2 Kg. tin, there are from 9 to 12 asparagus and that they are considered thick.

GREEN ASPARAGUS ASPARAGUS TIPS
Everyone knows that asparagus are born under the ground, concretely in little long mounds that cross the field in parallel rows. The green asparagus are the same as the white ones, but with one difference, the white ones are white because they never get to see daylight while the green asparagus peep up out of the mound, which gives them that characteristic green and purplish colour.

The taste of these asparagus is more flavourful and they resist breaking in the pan or pot more than the others, which makes them more suitable for different dishes.

Green asparagus are very recommendable for omelettes or scrambled egg dishes, for salads and for a multitude of other dishes. They come in 1/2-Kg. jars.

The best part of the asparagus is the tip. It is the most tender and delicate, which we notice when we taste good Navarra asparagus.

Rosara has wanted to collect this delicacy and preserve it so everybody can enjoy this delicacy at home. It will be equally exquisite in vinaigrette or with mayonnaise or prepared in any of a thousand different ways.

Asparagus tips are put up from hand peeled asparagus with no additives at all. They come in 1/2-Kg. jars.
