What is this?:
We select the best Lodosa piquillo peppers DO (denominación de origen) and grill them over beech wood. We peel them without water so as not to lose their flavour and pack them in their juice. It is a very laborious process, but with delicious results. Filled with a delicate bechamel sauce of de-salted cod, prawns and poached vegetables, is also notable for its low fat (2.6%) and salt (0.23g/100g) content. Despite our production being overseen by the DO (denominación de Origen) regulatory board, the Lodosa piquillo peppers and other peppers used in this product come under the DO, but the council recognizes only peppers packed in their juice (whole, strips or slices) via a numbered label.
